PRIMING machines

Alpha’s rotary motion priming machines are capable of priming pistol and rifle calibers ranging from 25ACP to 50BMG. Compact yet powerful, each unit fits within a 52" x 42" footprint and is designed to meet both U.S. and international power standards. These machines are engineered for continual operation, producing hundreds of millions of primed cases annually for commercial and defense applications.

Models are available for priming only or for combined priming and primer staking/crimping. In priming-only configurations, the system delivers up to 200 parts per minute for pistol calibers and up to 125 parts per minute for rifle.

Every Alpha priming machine is equipped with advanced quality control functions to ensure consistent and reliable performance. A built-in vision system detects faulty primers by checking for upside-down primers, preventing defective cases from entering production. The machine also performs a primer pocket check to confirm the presence of a primer pocket, ensuring primers are installed and helping minimize machine stoppages.

Operator safety and production speeds are paramount to Alpha machine development. Alpha machines use a bowl-fed primer track system that eliminates stacked primers and reduces the risk of primer related incidents, while boosting feed reliability and overall efficiency. The result is a rugged, high-throughput priming solution built to maximize safety, precision, and reliability.

The P-350's advanced priming technology integrates primer staking/crimping and industry-leading precision for a wide variety of pistol and rifle ammunition.

Alpha P-550

The P-550 is Alpha's proven technology for 50 caliber ammunition, offering precision staking and crimping functionality for 12.7x99 and 12.7x108.

Alpha's fastest and most versatile priming machine, the P-150 is designed to efficiently prime small and large-caliber rifle and pistol ammunition.

Alpha P-150

The Alpha P-150 is the cornerstone of our priming machine lineup—our most popular and most versatile model. Built exclusively for priming, the P-150 does not perform primer staking or crimping. Capable of handling a wide range of pistol and rifle calibers from .25ACP to .338 Lapua, the P-150 is ideal for both small and large primer applications.

Unique to the P-150 is its micro-adjustable primer seating depth feature, giving operators unmatched control over primer installation. Precise fine-tuning allows for consistent primer ignition, improving both safety and reliability while also enhancing overall shooting accuracy. Operators can easily adjust for different calibers and primer types, reducing waste and maximizing efficiency. This feature ensures every round meets exacting performance standards, giving manufacturers the confidence that their ammunition will perform flawlessly in the field.

Engineered for continuous operation, the P-150 is designed to process millions of cases with minimal maintenance and wear. The P-150's proven reliability and caliber adaptability make it the go-to priming platform for ammunition manufacturers demanding performance, durability, and efficiency.
